'Pro-poor' & 'youth-centric' budget

Heap of praise has come for Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman from  Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the PM described it as a ‘pro-poor’ budget and a ‘youth-centric’ budget.

Reacting after the presentation of the annual financial statement for 2022-23 by the Finance Minister the Prime Minister said that an important aspect of this budget is the welfare of the poor and the budget has given special attention to poor.

He said that this union budget will give a financial boost and benefit the common man with more investment, infrastructure, employment and development opportunities and will strengthen India’s economy.  He also call the budget meant for ‘Kisan Kalyan’ (farmer welfare) and ‘Garib Kalyan’ (welfare of poor).  

He also said that the budget is a youth-centric budget as its schemes will generate over 60 lakh (six million) jobs in the coming days.
