Some features of budget 2023-24 :

• ·         Income tax slab changed; no tax for income upto seven lakh rupees
• ·         Seven sectors to be treated as priority sectors including inclusive development, youth empowerment
• ·         Boost for Agri sectors and agritech industries/start-ups

• ·          20 Lakh crore for Agri sector credit
• ·         Emphasis on millets

• ·         Special support  for lab grown diamonds (LGD)
• ·         Fiscal deficit above 6%, target to keep it at 5.90%
• ·         Boost for railways, highways, infrastructure
• ·         Interest free loan for states for 50 yrs
