Has the
recent episode of Delhi’s Markaz in ongoing Corona episode put the nation much
closer to the stage three or the entire episode has given a criminal angle to
the biggest humanitarian crisis in the documented history of the world? On one
side it also indicate jihad or terror angle too of the coronavirus outbreak,
that has been suspected for a long time.
The investigation has already been started that how and why
such a large number of gathering was present inside the Markaz, despite all the
announcements about the lockdown, made by the Prime Minister and City Chief
time to time. Was it a simple ignorance, stupidity or deliberate attempt to
hide the infected people of Coronavirus? There are plethora of queries in this
concern, that needs to be answered. But the instant impact of this episode has
started to reflect that government agencies are now busy to track the all the
foreign visitors and domestic visitors of the Markaz in the last month to break
the cycle as well as possibility to start of third cycle of the COVID-19
outbreak. It is notable that 2367 people have been evacuated and over 600
people have been admitted in the hospital suspecting with the coronavirus
symptoms. The national data of the positive cases have also seen a sudden surge
of 386 new cases in just a single day. The number is rising fast at alarming
level as the data from different states are pouring in and the visitors of the
Markaz are being identified. It is notable that 10 visitors of Markaz have
already been died.
Although, the officials of Health Ministry have said that
this (surge) did not reflect the national trend. But it is the matter of the
fact that the entire government machinery is putting all efforts to track down
all the visitors, so that they could be quarantined. Meanwhile, the FIR has
also been registered under the epidemic act and Markaz premise has been
evacuated after the intervention of the National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval.
Visa of the all foreign tourists too have been suspended after the episode. But
the question remains there how and why the Markaz event took place despite all
the announcements.
But, as the damage has already been done and danger has
already been arrived. The global impact is also started reflecting. Macca and
Madina have also been closed, as per the reports, as the apprehension of spread
of COVID-19 is growing even in Islamic nations too, as these nations were away
till date from the western countries like pandemic. Iran and Egypt are already
facing tough time in this concern. More are prone to go on EU nations’ way if
the trend continues.
