Googly for Imran

It was a kind of googly for the cricketer turned Prime Minister Imran Khan. The constitutional crisis in Pakistan was although, an internal matter but neighbour countries are watching the entire episode with same curiosity as it happens in a residential colony or a residential society. But with this constitutional crisis Prime Minister Imran Khan has probably become the first Prime Minister of Pakistan, who is going to face the no-confidence motion twice in less than one week!

But as it is said; anything can happen in Pakistan! So the this democratic (!) experiment too can take place in Islamabad after the intervention of apex court in the constitutional crisis after decision to reject no-confidence motion was challenged by the opposition and Pak President too became one of the party in the whole process.

However, it is interesting to note that analysts say that Imran is facing such situation as General Headquarter, UK and US were not supporting Imran due to various reasons. Moreover, Pak’s notorious intelligence agency as well as military establishments never wanted that democracy succeed in any manner.

But, as world is facing several back to back crisis in form or pandemic, war, economic crisis and many more, it will be interesting to see that Pak’s well-crafted crisis during the month of Ramadan will save Imran or it will change the regime amid the fast changing global scenario.
