Issue of coronavirus pandemic and climate change to lead the agenda of  Group of rich nations (G-7), as reports appeared in the media indicates. According to reports the G-7 nations may discuss the issue of origin of Covid-19 virus and press for reinvestigation of the virus origin.

Although, the issue of Wuhan lab leak is doing round for a long time and WHO has also investigated the matter but the mystery of Wuhan lab leak and origin of virus is yet to be resolved as several data, related to it, are either deleted or missing. In such a situation, the Cornell summit of G-7 nations may press for reinvestigation of the origin of the pandemic virus.

It is notable that UN General Secretary has already indicated apprehension of bio-terror attack in his speech during last year after first outbreak of the coronavirus.

It is not clear as yet that the issue will be discussed or not as UK is chairing the summit this year but the veteran experts believe that the apprehension cannot be wiped out nor it can be rejected completely.

On the other hand, G-7 summit may also announce 1000 million doses of vaccines for poor and developing nations to contain pandemic. US President Joe Biden has already indicated purchase of 500 million doses of vaccines for developing nations to contain pandemic.

It is notable that UK PM Boris Johnson invited PM Modi too, but the PM expressed his inability to attend the summit considering pandemic situation. However, there may be virtual participation by Indian side, as per reports.
