Centre has decided to provide free vaccination for all above
18-year. It has also decided to provide free ration to all needy and poor
families till Diwali. This has been announced by the Prime Minister
Narendra Modi during a televised address to the nation on Monday evening.
The decision has been taken considering covid situation in
various states and nation as whole. During his brief address Prime Minister
also said that centre will take all responsibilities related to vaccination. However,
he said that centre would bear 75% cost of vaccination. He also said that
private hospitals cannot charge more than rupees 150 on vaccines.
He also kept aside all
the rumours and allegations and said that the vaccine is fully safe and everybody
should take the jab.
