Concerns in Indian diplomatic as well as security fraternity are growing  as reports appeared in media that Taliban swept into Afghanistan's capital Sunday after the government collapsed and Afghan’s President took shelter with his close aides in Tajikistan.

The embattled president joined an exodus of his fellow citizens and foreigners, indicating end of a costly two-decade U.S. campaign to remake the country, says reports appeared in international media. Pictures of Taliban from Presidential palace has also been appeared in the media in some of the publications.

Earlier, Air India’s last flight landed in New Delhi yesterday evening from Kabul carrying 129 passengers. Passengers told horrifying story of chaos in Kabul as well as at the airport to depart from the Afghanistan.

Considering the fast changing developments the US and other international missions in Kabul have intensified their efforts to evacuate their staffs. On the other hand UN has called an emergency meeting of Security Council to discuss the developments and address the issues related to fast changing developments.
