Media has
given wider coverage to Joe Biden’s Indo-Pacific Economic Forum of 13 nations
including India. Most of the newspapers have made it a lead story with
photographs. Some of the newspapers have also published edit on the Modi’s
Tokyo visit.
‘With China

signal China is key talking point in Tokyo summit’, says its second lead story.
Some newspapers have also carried out stories of China and Russia’s curiosity
on Quad summit. On the other hand some global media have carried the story of
quitting of the top Russian diplomat in protest against the ongoing war.
‘The Times
of India’ has carried a story on Delhi’s rains ‘Summer’s big rain relief’ as
the capital city gets a big respite from the sultry summer as the sporadic
rains and hailstorm has cool down the city from highest 49 degree celcius to 31
degree celcius. According to the newspaper, the city has experienced coolest
day in last 72 days of the season.
On the
other hand, several newspapers have carried out story of the new Lieutenant Governor
Vinay Kumar Saxena on front page. This is first time that Delhi has a Lt.
Governor from corporate world, says most of the newspapers. It is notable that
Delhi’s Lt. Governor Anil Baijal had resigned citing personal reasons.
